I am a German and English native - equally at home in the languages of Goethe and Shakespeare and the music of Bach and Balinese gamelan. Growing up in Berlin in a bilingual family, I discovered early on how much I love exploring different places, cultures and ways of expressing the world - a curiosity that has since taken me to study and teach in Spain, Australia, Russia, Switzerland and Indonesia. Music is as much my language as words are. I am a trained music teacher as well as a certified German teacher, and I am never happier than when I can bring the two together.

I hold a degree in Teaching English as a Second Language and Music Education, the Goethe-Institut certification for German teachers and I am qualified to teach integration and orientation courses (BAMF) in Germany. Besides German and English I speak Indonesian, French, and some Italian and Spanish. Most important for me is to create a space where you feel free to express yourself, to grow and connect with others in a meaningful way. I have never stopped being a learner myself - at the moment I’m studying recorder and Indonesian - and I can’t wait to share this joy with you!
